Stuff I Want Other Bloggers to Teach Me (ft. Me being salty???)

No, no I’m not going to be salty…

Sooo you know we’re all bloggers and sometimes we see some really creative/original popular bloggers and you look at their blog and just question your existence. Yeah this post is inspired by that incident.

Buuuut….I also tweeted something last month and suddenly an idea came to me and I decided to write this post.

This is true story okay. I have seen certain bloggers who have all their blog posts scheduled and then say that they’re a mess?! What am I then??

So here are some things which I want other book bloggers to teach me –

Scheduling all your posts and saying you’re a mess??

Yes, I just talked about it. But will these bloggers teach what it’s like being such a “mess??” I mean here I am having a crisis because I haven’t got any post to publish this month and you’re over there with all you scheduled posts till like 2157. I mean how do you do that? And excuse me you’re a mess!!? Like how!

Also how do you write all your posts so fast?? Like it takes me weeks to write one post because I’m just so lazy,

But seriously you bloggers should be freaking proud of yourself. You don’t have to say you’re a mess because that’s not helping me.

Taking aesthetically beautiful pictures

Umm….have you seen some of the pictures I have taken? I’m literally laughing at myself because I suck at taking pictures. I mean some bloggers take like reaaaally good pictures and after seeing their pictures I look at mine in dismay. I mean I still don’t know how to keep mine hands steady while taking a picture so that the picture doesn’t come blurred.

So is anyone willing to give me classes on how to take the most “aesthetically” beautiful pictures.

Coming up with new Ideas every week

Ahahaha I run out of ideas almost as soon as I come up with them. Or maybe I am never able to express my thoughts in words. But whatever it is there are some bloggers out there who post like ever week (and some everyday) and leave me wondering if I’ll ever be like them.

Like I had a lot of post ideas for this month but I just don’t know how to write them and now I feel that I’ve wasted all my time. And then if I post all of them this month what will I post next month. So many questions!!!

Making their blog look all professional and beautiful

Let’s also add “and sticking to the same theme” because clearly I find that hard to do. But like how do y’all actually stick to the same theme. And how does your blog look beautiful with all those graphics and like your sidebar looks so amazing. Like some bloggers’ blogs are so beautiful, I’ll literally make a blog or a stan account for how beautiful their footer or sidebar looks. Like teach me MY LORD!!

How to be friendly

Oh wow I’m pretty sure I’m not a meanie but like sometimes I feel that I’m not friendly enough or that maybe some people might be intimidated by me but there are so many bloggers whose comments and posts seem so nice and then I look at mine which 90% of the time is just me making fun of myself. But like I’m sorry because I don’t know how to be friendly?? And like I (as I said earlier)

Reading Books!!

Ok now I seriously need your help because ajadbsjfbsdjkn how do you even find time to read books and like review them. Because I seriously need to take classes. I can’t find time to read 1 book and everyone has already read like 50 books.

Also like I don’t think I would ever be able to read that many books. I mean some people have read so many books that they actually don’t remember their plots. Not that I remember all the books I have read but still..

Writing along with Blogging

Now if another person tells me that their writing is trashy I’m literally going to start screaming. Look at least you found the time and idea to write your book. I’m still struggling with the names of my characters. And like all of my writing is so trashy and cringey like I’ll literally write a negative review for my own book if it ever gets published.

You should be happy you have everything figured out. I want to do so many things but I just don’t know where to start. So like just be proud of yourself, give yourself a pat on the back and look at me.

How to Blog Hop properly

I don’t even know the meaning of this term but can someone teach how to appreciate a blogger’s post properly because like I just never know what to comment on their post. And lately I just don’t feel like reading anybody’s posts because I have just been in a weird mood lately. But I’ll start “blog hopping” soon but only after someone gives me some tips on how to comment properly. Because sometimes people post something which I just don’t understand and then I just sit there looking like a dumb person.

Replying to comments because jafbjdgfnbdfmbn it’s hard

Umm… like I do get comments and I reply to them but some people get like 56565 comment s and they’re able to reply to them and also blog hop?!! Do you people mind if I call you all my Kings/Queens because how can you even do that.

To be honest I try to blog hop but then I just get bored/tired/sleepy after 2 or 3 comments that after that I just write stupid comments. But you all actually write relevant comments i’m- I’m literally going to cry. You all are my heroes *cries*

So i guess that’s all I have to say. I am not trying to make fun of anyone who works hard but this is just me talking about my insecurities. Hopefully no one is offended by this post. But basically I just wanted to make some blogger realize that they’re sooo hard-working and they’re amazing because there are certain bloggers like me who still don’t know what they’re trying to do.Untitled design (8)Do you relate to this post? Do you want some other bloggers to teach you something? Do you also want other bloggers to teach you all this stuff? Or is it just me who can’t take pretty pictures? Tell meeeee!!

  1. CAN I JOIN YOU FOR THESE CLASSES????? Let’s make it an official thing: blogging and other things in general 101.
I face All. Of. The. Above. Where do I start?
I am a complete mess and I mean a *real* mess. I get the post idea but I write the actual thing three weeks later???? (I’m also a very weird person. Just sayin’).
The pictures OH MY GOD the pictures. I’m not the only one whose hands shake like a buffon while taking pictures (not that you’re a buffon. I’m the buffon here)? I have an IG account and there are SO. MANY. amazing pictures of books/bookshelves/book selfies and all my pictures come in a blur.
And coming up with new ideas is hard man!
Professional blog and me? Pffft. Even I’m laughing at that.
How do people read so many books???? I finish one in weeks depending on how interesting it is, school, rereading Harry Potter, sudden mood swings and my mood in general.
Being friendly . . . it’s hard. I feel that most of the time I’m not friendly enough.
Writing and blogging together? FoRGET. IT. I was writing a story recently and I didn’t get past the first line (which I deleted in frustration).
But I think you’re doing great with your theme! It took me five – yes, FIVE months to change my theme.
Where do you get these relatable posts from Aditi?
PS: I’m sorry for the long comment.
PSS (or PPS): can we include ‘how to tie a ponytail’ in the class??

Sameee if I get an idea today I’ll probably write it next month because I’m super lazy.
You know I don’t care if I can’t control water and fire, someone teach how to control my hands and to ensure that they do not shake while I’m trying to take pictures.
Like how do you read even 2 books in a month. I find it so hard to read and study and stuff.
I’ve finally realized that I just can’t write or I can’t write and blog. I don’t even know what I want to write and then the problem of the first line.
Woah!! I didn’t think anyone would relate to it but I guess y’all did find it relatable so *bows down but falls down*
It’s okay. Long comments are cool because then it finally inspires me to write long comments?? (idk what I am sayimg)
YESS WE’LL INCLUDE HOW TO TIE A PONYTAIL definitely in the class!!!
      Thanks for reading Shreya ❤

  2. I couldn’t agree more with scheduled posts! I feel like I have too many ideas and then when I sit down to write I have no ideas. I still have no idea how people take such pretty pictures. Anytime I do a tutorial I take like 200 pictures that are cross-eyed, have weird shadows, make me look like I have a triple chin, have a weird blotchiness that isn’t showing up in real life, etc etc etc. If I’m lucky I get 5 good pictures and half of them are “is she or isn’t she cross-eyed?” haha. You make the most relatable posts!

    1. Yesss like my brain just stops working as soon as I sit down to write something and is like “NOPE not today!” And ughhh let’s not talk about pictures because I can’t take any. But your pictures look reaaaaally good trust me! Although I feel that the feeling of uncertainty is always there. Haha thank you so much for reading Emily ❤

  3. Hush, you’re as friendly as a Hufflepuff love. And I get about commenting on blogs…I’m only able to post meaningful comments if I like the content and/or relate to it. I relate to so many points on your list though!

    Great post 😊

  4. Honestly yes, this is so relatable! I wish I could post consistently, and I just don’t understand how some people do it, because I either forget or I don’t know what to post about… And just don’t even get me started on my terrible photography skills… I can’t hold the camera steady for the life of me!
Your pictures are great though, seriously, I’m jealous.

    1. How do people get the energy to write sooo many posts and then take a picture on top of that. My hands literally never stop shaking and I have to sit/stand in a weird position and I have to hold my breath so that my hands don’t shake. It’s soo tiring though.
And noooo my pictures are not that good. I only use the free stock images from this website Unsplash because taking pictures is not my thing.
      Thank you for reading ❤

  5. Well Aditi I know some of these things but one thing I wanted to learn was Photoshop. And a fantastic blogger helped me with it! Hours and hours of skype later I am now familiar with the main ropes. So yes if you want to learn something just ask and we’ll help 😉

    1. Oh yess I need to learn Photoshop as well. But I just love it how everybody is willing to help in this community. I would totally ask y’all for help if only I wasn’t scared because just talking in general scares me.
      Thanks for reading ❤

  6. I also wonder how people come up with new ideas every week and actually write them, that’s just something I need to learn how to do😓 Also you are extremely friendlyyy, don’t be so hard on yourseelf💕

    1. Yess I know like please teach how you all are soo creative!! And also teach me to not waste my time and actually start writing something.
Aaaaaaa I know that I’m not a meanie I guess but I just can’t stop this feeling that maybe some people are scared of me??
But thank you sooo much ❤

  7. The biggest thing I want to do is get my blog theme overhauled completely. It’s just not as clean as I would like it to be.

Other than that, I’ve given up on taking aesthetic photos (I’ll leave that to professional-photographer boyfriend lol).

At one point, I had all of my Sunday (book review) and Wednesday (recipe review) posts scheduled for three months in advance, and then suddenly I ran out of scheduled posts and my blog fell off my radar for several months. It’s hard, because sometimes I’ll get stuck with a writing bug and then other times it’s just a disaster waiting to happen.

    1. I get what you’re saying. I’m never satisfied with how my blog looks.
Taking pictures?? I don’t even know what that means. Because it’s just not possible.
WOW!! You had all your posts scheduled.Ah how I love it when all my posts are scheduled. But yeah I once had my posts scheduled and then I ran out of them. And since I am so lazy I always forget to write more posts. I feel that’s normal for all bloggers though.

  8. Great post! Since you say you’re a BTS fan, are you a fan of any other bands like Why Don’t We or In Real Life? Cute blog design btw, I love your floral header!
