1 year blogiversary!! // Answering your questions + screaming endlessly!! Also massive thank you!!

Finally the day has come.

The day I’ve been silently waiting for. Actually not really. If you haven’t been on my blog lately, for the past few days I’ve been screaming about my blogiversary (and I’m sorry for being so annoying) which is today on the 22nd!! (I know it’s the 23rd now) And I’m writing this post today which is a lesson to you all that procrastination kills the cow.

It’s so weird to think that just 366 days back (on 21st of October) my life was so different and look at me now. 1 year of blogging, 1 year of writing posts, 1 year of talking to you all and trying to make new friends!

7 Things book bloggers want more than anything else in the world (apart from dominating the world)

I am particularly a content person.

Actually not really. But when it comes to book blogging there are certain things that I feel I want / need / deserve because book blogger are clearly the best and deserve the whole world.

But apparently people don’t seem to understand this. And they think that they can do whatever they want to book bloggers and we’ll not get hurt. Not really. Because we do get hurt and if we ever get hurt, these are the 7 things you can give us/ do for us to comfort us and to make us feel better about ourselves.

Why it’s okay to not be perfect in the blogging community (ft. me trying to preach)

Look, nobody is perfect.

That’s it. That’s the whole post. Not really. But that’s what this post is really about. Everyone wants to be perfect and everyone wants others to be. And of course the blogging community is not free from this curse.

There are thousands (maybe millions) of websites and blogs on the internet. Some we like while some we lOVE!!! And sometimes we start thinking of these bloggers as someone who’s very different from us. And it’s not just bloggers. It can be actors or youtubers you like as well. But anyway, what I mean is that these people who we see or read about through our screens are not actually real/humans to us.

How negative can a negative review be?? + why negative reviews are important

I don’t make the rules.

But I get annoyed with negative reviews sometimes. Yes negative reviews are also important (plus the tea *sips*) but the way bloggers frame them makes me ugggghhhh really REALLY angry!

But at the same time I love reading them because it’s always fun to read other people’s opinions. Basically I am a mess because I don’t know what I’m talking about.

Youtube vs Blogging: Which platform is the best (ft. me trying to list out the pros and cons.

I’m clearly no expert. 

But I’m intelligent enough to know that when it comes to blogging and being a youtuber there is a lot of differences. Now I’m not writing this post to hate on any of these platforms or people involved in these. I’m writing this post so that if there’s anyone out there who can’t decide whether to start a blog or YouTube channel, then this post can probably help you.

I did try to start my own channel some times (emphasis on try)  buuuuuut…..ahaHahaHAh!!! That didn’t work out obviously because I’m still here! Ahaha.

Why I hardly ever write Book Reviews. (read: never) + What I expect from book reviews.

So it is no secret that I hardly ever write book reviews.

If you open my site, scroll down and select “Book Reviews” in the category dropdown box and click on book reviews and you’ll be met with like 1 or 2 or maybe 3 book reviews….but THAT’S IT!! I was thinking about this and I realised that I hardly ever write book reviews. I mean I do have 1 or 2 book reviews written but I don’t feel like posting them.

Yeah I’d recommend taking a look at the before ad now of my blog header. Not that my header is the best but when compared to my first one it’s waaaaaay better, trust me!

So nobody has ever asked me how I made my blog graphics but of course here I am (after being MIA for almost 3 months but who cares)

But well things weren’t like this always. I changed my headers like 7-8 times (I don’t actually remember). So today I’ve decided to bless you all with my blog headers (better close your eyes)
